Walking Dead Ratings STEADY

The sixth season has finally recovered from it’s terrible opening in the ratings, thanks to the Morgan episode and the hype generated by the Glenn pseudo-death, not necessarily in that order.  The show has made it back to fourth season levels, after dropping like a stone behind both previous seasons.

It’s hard to imagine both the fourth AND fifth season doing better than the first four episodes of the sixth season, so it makes me wonder if people have changed their viewing habits.  Maybe they’re watching more football or get their horror fix from American Horror Story, which has been very successful.  I’ll complement the show though, because at least they had a plan, albeit a gimmicky stupid one, in Glenn’s pseudo-death.  Anyway, I think next week will be the true measuring stick for this season, and hopefully it won’t drop off again like in season five after every cliffhanger.
